TGVair at a glance
Corsair has teamed up with the SNCF (French Rail) to offer you a number of fantastic international destinations from anywhere in France.
With TGVair, you’ll purchase one single ticket for your entire journey. It’s simple, economical, and convenient.
One combination Corsair/SNCF ticket allows you to benefit from three distinct services: a high-speed train (TGV) to Paris, a shuttle to the airport, and a flight with Corsair. TGVair was created to facilitate travel to international destinations from anywhere in France.
It couldn’t be easier: one customer service, one reservation, one ticket, and one fare.
In the event that your train or plane is delayed, Corsair and the SNCF will book you on the next available train or flight at no extra charge, and even offer a free hotel room if necessary.
TGVair: your partner for overseas trips from Strasbourg
With the new all-in-one TGVair deal, you can now head to all of Corsair’s destinations from the city of Strasbourg.
Created by Corsair and the SNCF (French Rail), TGVair makes it easy to travel to fantastic locations such as Canada, Guadeloupe, and Dakar. The first step to your trip from Strasbourg to Montreal or Dakar involves reserving a ticket with TGVair. There are three ways to make a reservation: at the Corsair counter at the airport, at a travel agency, or online via the booking form on the Corsair website.
You’ll receive a booking confirmation as soon as your reservation is complete. Your trip will start at the Strasbourg train station, one of 19 stations all across France that offer the TGVair travel deal. In Strasbourg, you’ll benefit from an extensive network of public transportation with city buses, streetcars, and intercity coaches allowing you to easily reach the train station located just steps away from famous Strasbourg Cathedral.
If you’re coming by car or motorcycle, the station is equipped with an expansive parking area offering short and long-term parking as well as direct access to the trains.
If you’d rather be dropped off by a family member or friend, take advantage of the two “dépose-minute” areas located directly in front of the station. Upon arriving at the station, make your way to the TGVair counter with your ID and reservation confirmation in hand. An SNCF agent will provide you with your train ticket from Strasbourg to Paris, as well as a voucher for your shuttle from the train station in Paris to the airport.
Be sure to arrive at least 30 minutes before your train is scheduled to depart. And remember to punch your ticket before boarding the train. You’ll exit the train at the Massy TGV station in Paris. A Corsair shuttle will be waiting outside to take you to the airport (Paris Orly Sud). Once you’ve checked in your luggage at the Corsair counter, you’ll be directed to the boarding area for your flight to Dakar, Montreal, or any other destination.
