Travel to international destinations from Nîmes with TGVair
TGVair is an all-in-one travel package that lets you reach international destinations from anywhere in France.
With TGVair, traveling abroad from the Nîmes train station is both quick and easy. Simply book your TGVair ticket at a Corsair customer counter or your usual travel agency.
To save time, you can also reserve your trip on the Corsair website. Print out your confirmation and on the day of your departure, head to the Nîmes train station to embark for Reunion Island or any other Corsair destination in the Indian Ocean or around the world. This impressive station, one of 19 train stations all across France to collaborate with TGVair, is located in downtown Nîmes and thus extremely easy to find.
A dozen “Tango” city bus lines stop just outside the station, allowing you to reach the station from anywhere in the city. If you’re coming by car, you can leave your car in the nearby parking garage for the entire duration of your trip, provided you call in advance to make a reservation. Be sure to arrive at the station at least 30 minutes before your train is scheduled to depart. Upon arrival, head directly to the TGVair counter with your reservation confirmation in hand to receive your train ticket and a voucher for the shuttle in Paris.
You’ll exit the train at the Massy TGV station in Paris, where the shuttle will be waiting to take you to the airport (Paris Orly Sud). In the event that your train or plane is delayed or canceled, Corsair and the SNCF (French Rail) will immediately book you on the next available train or flight to your destination in the Indian Ocean, at no extra charge.
